Hi, this is Robin from Bangalore. I just newly joined as HR in charge in a Pvt Ltd, and here it's still not registered for PF and ESI. Can anybody tell me what the procedure is and the salary breakup like basic, HRA, conveyance, etc.? In my last company, we used to have:

- Basic at 60% of gross
- HRA at 40% of gross
- Conveyance at 10% of gross

Here, my employer told me to follow that file which I posted. I don't know how or why he wants the salary broken down like this. I am attaching below the last HR-used Excel sheet, but I don't know why it's showing (basic, HRA, conveyance, other). Please help me with this. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply, Srisa. Sorry, this file can't be attached here. It's to be fixed with the following amounts:

- If basic salary < 7499, = 4900
- If < 9999, = 5000
- If < 11499, = 5100
- If < 15999, = 5500, 6000

HRA at 60% of basic.

Conveyance at >= 800, = 800, 0.

Medical allowance > 15000, = 1250.

Special allowance equals the balance amount.

Please help me.
