Actually, I've worked in a company for the last 18 months, and now I am considering switching to another company. I would like to know if, upon leaving this company possibly in the coming year, they will provide me with a performance bonus for the year I have worked, along with my full and final settlement.

HI It depends on the company’s policy. If its a part of your CTC, yes they will settle you in full (as per the percentage fixed by company) or a minimum of 8.33% will be given to you.

Dear Friend,

You are eligible for a bonus as per the act, since you made contributions in the accounting year. However, you have to check the appointment terms and conditions. If the bonus is included in your CTC, you can receive the same.

Its at the discretion of the Management, even if the T&C of your appointment may mention your eligibility for the period you are entitled to.

Company need not pay bonus If your Basic salary is more than 10K . If bonus is part of your CTC as performance bonus then they may consider.
