Hi Folks, I am very new to HR, mainly involved in transactional tasks, but I am highly aspirational and ambitious about getting involved in strategic and transformational projects. Could someone guide me on what factors to consider when initiating cost-saving measures (post-effects) and how to handle unhappy and resentful staff? Additionally, I would appreciate any essential questionnaires that are required for this. Please enlighten me on this subject.

You have not provided enough information in your post. As a retired academic who has taught Strategic Management and Operations Management to MBAs and has industry experience, I am unclear about your statement, "I am very new to HR since majorly into transactional stuff."

Additionally, I am unsure about your reference to "painful and cost-saving (post effects)" and who the unhappy and resentful staff are. Your mention of re-establishing business models and facing ill effects of transition and transformation lacks clarity.

Clarification Needed on Business Model and Effects

Could you elaborate on the new business model being established and the reasons for anticipating negative effects? What specific questionnaires are you seeking, and what information are you looking to gather and from whom?
