Dear Seniors, I am from a science background, but I chose the field of accounts when I started working, and I have 4 years of experience in accounts. Now, I am interested in pursuing an MBA in Financial Management. Can I pursue this despite my science background? Will the syllabus be difficult for a science student? Please advise me.
Thanks and Regards,
Annu

You can very well do an MBA in Finance, and you can succeed as you have 4 years of accounting experience. I suggest you pursue more finance/accounting-related courses for speedy career growth since you are a science graduate. Otherwise, prospective employers may try to exploit the situation by portraying a science background as a negative aspect.
All the best!!!

My daughter has a B.Sc in Physics, Maths, and Computer Science, has completed an MBA, scored well, and seems to have a good understanding of the subject. She is excelling as a Financial Analyst.
Meaning: You will do wonderfully well with your 4+ years of experience. Wish you all the best.

Annu,
Don't worry about the syllabus, and also don't think about the "difficulty"—not easy—is it possible. An MBA itself is a challenging career. For an MBA, the major requirement is analytical skill. Your science background and four years of experience in accounts are an added advantage. Go ahead.
Best wishes,
