Annual gross is Rs. 150,000/-. The average is Rs. 18,000/- per month, which may include monthly earnings and other benefits such as LTA, medical, bonus, etc.
Exclusion from Provident Fund (PF)
If you wish to exclude the employee from PF, their Basic + DA should be more than Rs. 6,500/- per month, and they should meet the eligibility criteria to be considered an excluded employee as defined under Para 2(f) of the EPF Scheme. To understand the term 'excluded employee,' please research this site and read my related posts.
Exclusion from Employee State Insurance (ESI)
To exclude an employee from ESI, the monthly gross should exceed Rs. 15,000/-. If the HRA Act applies to your state and company, ensure you pay HRA accordingly. Any remaining adjustments can be made to other allowances as per your discretion or policy.
Thank you.
