You and the other party to L&L are required to approach the office of the sub-registrar of the area with the original deed of L&L, a copy of the PAN card, and photographs (of both parties to L&L). Upon payment of the stamp duty, registration fee, and charges for photocopies of the document, duly paid stamp duty and registration fee. Both parties to the L&L need to provide their snaps, thumb impressions, and signatures in the presence of the sub-registrar. Two witnesses for both parties are also required to provide their ID proof, photographs, and signatures in the presence of the sub-registrar.
