Dear all,
PF deduction is a statutory requirement for any organization with 20 or more employees. PF is calculated on the Base salary and DA. The employee contribution is 12% of Base salary + DA, if any. The employer contribution is 13.61%. Out of these, 3.67% goes to PF contribution and 8.33% to EPS. The remaining covers EDLI and administrative expenses. If the Base salary is Rs. 6500 or more, then the EPS contribution will be a maximum of Rs. 541. Such employees also fall under the category of exempted employees.
Thank you,
Anil

My company pays me a consolidated amount which includes my PF contribution. Can I register on EPFO (Govt. of India)? How do I apply for PF deduction online?
