Hi all, I joined my company 1.6 months ago, and I am going to finish my bond duration in 6 months. However, my HR is asking me to extend my commitment for another 6 months because we are going to provide new technology training. I do not have an interest in giving further commitment because, for the past 1.6 years, we have not had any benefits, low salary, and no projects. How can I politely convey to my HR to help me with this issue?

Please assist me in resolving this problem.

Thank you.

The Role of Bonds in Employee Success

Bonds often contribute to employees' success by providing stability and compensation.

Addressing Additional Training Commitments

Is this training scheduled beyond your Key Result Areas (KRA) or normal task list? At most, you can request a salary hike. What is your manager's stance on such a commitment without its benefits?

Regards.

The questions raised by Ms. (Cite Contribution) should be addressed by you to your HR. Probe with as many questions as necessary. However, pertaining to the fact that bonds are invalid, I request you to distance yourself from such connections. It is commendable that the employer is concerned about you. "NO PROJECTS" is definitely a reason for the HR to retain you with a lower salary criterion, and adding 6 months to your existing 6 months will total up to a year.

Speak courteously with HR and make sure you calmly clarify your queries. Request a couple of days from HR to think over the matter and discuss it with your family, then respond appropriately.

Thank you.
