Can an employer restrict PF Salary from Rs 10000 to Rs 6500 to an employee even though the employee was being paid 12 on Rs 10000.

Hi Anand Yes. As there is ceiling limit of Rs. 6500/- EE can contribute 12% on entire basic where in ER can restrict to the ceiling limit.
