PF Deduction on Basic Salary of ₹25,000

If someone's basic salary is ₹25,000, is PF deduction applicable? If yes, what percentage is deducted? Is it compulsory to deduct PF for every employee? Please provide information according to Indian PF deduction rules and acts.

Basic + DA above ₹6,500 can be exempted from PF deduction. Employees have to fill out Form 11 for the exemption. However, it is recommended to extend the PF facility since it is an added benefit for the employee. The CTC can include the Employee (12% of Basic + DA) + Employer's (13.61% of Basic + DA).
