Dear Mr. Madhu T. K. ji, I have a query regarding the Advance register and its format. Could you please provide me with its format and advice on how to fill it? I also have questions in my mind which are as follows:
Questions Regarding Advance Register
1) In which act does it come, the Payment of Wages Act or the Minimum Wages Act?
2) Which type of advance should we show in this register?
- Suppose one of our employees is taking an advance of Rs. 100,000, and we will deduct the same from his salary in ten equal installments of Rs. 10,000 per month.
- Suppose one of our workers is taking a Rs. 500 advance on September 12, and the same will be deducted from the September 12 salary.
Should I show both advances in the register, or only type (b) of advance should we show?
