Dear All,

I am pursuing DHRM from Welingkar Institute, of which I have successfully completed my first semester, and the second semester will commence in December.

Could anyone suggest whether pursuing PGDHRM after DHRM is a correct decision? Also, could you clarify if PGDHRM is equivalent to an MBA in HR?

I look forward to your valuable comments and suggestions.

Priya

Hi Priya,

Just to clarify, are you referring to DHRM in Welingkars, which is a one-year PG diploma? If I am not wrong, this PG diploma is called PGDHRM. Because I have done this diploma from Welingkars, and it was called PGDHRM.

If the PGDHRM is a 2-year full-time PG diploma, then yes, it is equivalent to an MBA. If possible, you can try to take the CET and get admission for MMS. Also, when your 2nd semester will get over in December, as I understand it, you can study for CET, which will be in February, and take admission for MMS in June.

Hi Manasim,

Thanks for your response. Yes, I am doing the same, and it is a one-year course. Oh, then this course will be called PGDHRM. Yes, even I am planning to go for that, but meanwhile, I came to know about the PGDHRM - 2 years course of Welingkar. So I thought I would just clarify with seniors.

Regards,
Priya
