You get paid for the entire month...including weekly-offs. Hence, the days in a month are classified as Working Days and Weekly-Offs.
Probationary Period is a testing period for both...you and the company...and therefore, if you or the company is not happy with one another...then you can separate without much hassle. Companies provide certain benefits to only those employees who has completed the probationary period, as these require lots of investment from companies point of view.
