Dear Seniors,
Kindly let me know in housing loan repayment , the total amount comes in three parts as follows,
Arrears of interest:
Interest:
Principal amount:

Now my question is in TDS declaration form under which section these all three amount should come.
For interest on housing loan already one column is there under Sec. 80D.
Should the principle amount come under Sec 80C.
Please Guide me...
Thanks

Thanks Pon ,
But I am little bit cnfsed. In declaration form on first page(point no 4 & 5) it is mentioned "interest on housing loan taken prior or after 01.04.1999.
Should the interest amount be mentioned in that column & principal amount in sec. 80C & under which column.
Please clear it .....
Thanks
Ravita
