Ignite Young Minds Summer Camp 2012

Ignite Young Minds is planning to organize Summer Camp 2012 for rural kids as part of its mission to enhance economically destitute children. The program is grouped into three age groups: Group I (3-10), Group II (10-18), Group III (18-23).

Activities Offered

The three-week summer camp is packed with the following activities:
- Yoga
- Patti Kadhaigal: Vikramathithan, Thenali Raman, Esaab Stories
- Thirukural Kathaigal
- Vivekananda for Youth, Kalam for Youth, Bharathi for Youth
- Computer Skills: Internet, Email, Java
- Games: Chess Coaching, Carrom Coaching
- Public Speaking Skills
- Instruments: Keyboard, Guitar, Tabla
- Creative Skills

The workshop is scheduled to start on May 5, 2012, and will run for 3-4 weeks. We aim to organize this at three remote villages in Pondicherry, Tindivanam, and Kancheepuram. We also intend to organize similar camps in more villages wherever needed.
