Dear All,
A very good evening to all of you. I am new to this forum and would like to seek help from your side. I have been working with my current employer for over a year now, but I have not yet received my PF number. I suspect that they may not be submitting my PF contributions. How can I verify if my PF is being submitted or not? In the event that they are not submitting my PF, what steps should I take? Can I request to receive the accumulated amount in cash, or should I reach out to a consumer forum for assistance?
Please help me...
Regards,
Ankit

Dear Ankit,
Mr. Sandeep is right. If you haven't received your PF account number details, you should first inquire with your HR about the non-provision of your PF details to date. If they have been submitting your PF contributions, they will provide you with the details of your PF account and the updated balance.
If they have not provided the information, you may consider taking further steps.

Dear Ankit,
Please go to your HR team and ask them to show you FORM 5 (in case of any doubts). Are you receiving the payslip? The PF number should be displayed on it. If not, please contact your HR team. Please have your head or manager in the loop.
It is not mandatory to receive the cashback in accumulation; the employer can also pay the amount.

Dear All,
I have the same problem as Mr. Ankit. The PF Account number mentioned in my salary slip is not searchable on the EPFO website. I have emailed the HR Dept. of my organization several times to provide my complete PF Account number, but I have not received any response from them. I even reached out to the top boss of the HR Dept. requesting my complete PF number, yet no reply has been received. In my 22 months of service, my employer has never issued me any PF Account Statement Slip.
Under the circumstances, please advise on what can be done.
Regards,
Sandip.
