Hi, please can someone help me understand the ESI procedure? My query is, what is the eligibility of an employee to get ESI benefits? If an employee is in the probation period or on a contract basis, are they entitled to receive that benefit?
Yes. He is eligible for ESI irrespective fo contract or probation or temp. Salary limit is Rs.15000 PM Deduction from employee 2.25% and employer 4.25% and the employee is eligible from the date one
