Dear Respctees, The SSA between India and Korea reached on 19th October 2011 and agreed to make into effect from 01/11/2011.

It appears that the Contributions need to be continued even though the SSA-IN&KO is signed and official, as per the following FAQ extract from the EPFO India Site. This needs to be clarified.

Government-level talks are ongoing with many other countries where sizable numbers of Indian workers are employed. Although not a formal agreement, there is a reciprocal arrangement between India and Korea to settle the claims of the employees upon completion of employment in the host country.
