Dear Friend,
I am currently working in Noida for a private limited company in the HR department. We are a team of 4 members. Is there any legal obligation or format to inform any local or government officials or bodies of any new member joining our team? Do we need to inform PF, Income Tax, and the Labour Inspector of any new staff joining us on an ongoing basis? Please guide.

Apart from the returns filed to EPF, ESI, and Welfare Fund, Shops and Establishments or Inter-State Migrant Employees Acts, as applicable, there seems to be no official returns to be sent to the government on a daily basis or on the basis of employees joining an establishment. However, you have to verify whether there exists any notification in this regard because sometimes the government might have initiated such measures to prevent the infiltration of terrorists.
