Request for Information on PF Loan and Withdrawal Procedures

I request you to please provide information on how we can take a loan against PF (the procedure & norms). Also, I would like to request guidance on withdrawing PF from the current PF account while still employed. Can the withdrawal be made, and if so, what would be the procedure?

Regards

Loan and Withdrawal Options for Provident Fund (PF)

You can't take a loan against the PF amount while still employed. You also can't withdraw the PF amount while in a job; however, you can take a non-refundable advance from your PF after completing 5 years for home purposes. After 7 years, you can take an advance for other purposes such as self-marriage, daughter's/sister's/brother's marriage, LIC premium, payment of hospitalization expenses, and advance studies for your son/daughter, etc.
