Hi all,

I work as an assistant professor in a management college. All the faculties here are given tasks that they have to perform in groups of 5-6 people, such as publishing newsletters and journals, website development, MDP, PR, etc. I have been asked to prepare a scoreboard to review the performances of all the groups and rate them based on their performance.

Please suggest parameters on which the rating of every team could be done.

Looks like this is a tricky one. Have you thought of collecting people's reactions and feedback so you have something to base it on? One parameter you can compare between newsletters/journals and the website is the result of the reach. For example, how many newsletters were distributed, and how many visitors came to the website? How long did they stay? With newsletters, if they're not emailed, it's a bit harder to measure.

Other things to consider could be the content of each of these, how relevant they are, people's reactions to them, and whether they were delivered on time, etc.

You can evaluate the performance group-wise by doing the following:
Group Wise
• Team Work
• Communication
• Group Dynamics
• Leadership
• Transparency
• Deliverables
• Commitment

Within the group, you can ask each group to provide their objectives, collect them, and create an evaluation parameter along with the group leaders.

Objective Wise/Performance
- Website Development
- Website Content
- Relevance of the content to the Objective of Creating Website
- Easy Links
- Time it takes to upload
- Time it takes to move from one page to another
- Number of Website Users
- Newsletters
- Variation of the subject
- Number of people reading the newsletters
- Feedback received from the newsletters

Don't forget to give a scale/score either from 10 or by % from 100.

I think this would have given you an idea of how to go about creating your parameters for your group.
