So, wake up juniors, be smart about it, and carry out your work professionally. I have experienced this situation, which is why I am sharing this with all my colleagues. Can you give me suggestions for handling this situation?

Hi,

Actually, my work is recruitment. But I have one problem that I have seen at other organizations. A boss who doesn't want to work properly hands over his work to their colleague (junior). My problem is, why is the boss exhibiting bossy behavior? I feel like I am being treated like a peon, which is why I am sharing this with you all. I am seeking suggestions on whether I should leave this job or continue.

First, see for yourself how well qualified or experienced you are compared to others in your position. One should know oneself well and understand their capabilities. Once you know the reality, then plan something!

Everyone has to start from the bottom; there is no way to reach the top floor directly. Otherwise, lifts and staircases would not have existed.

I hope you understand, my friend. Make your worth known to your senior so they recognize that you can handle more serious responsibilities. Then, whoever is your superior, make them acknowledge your good work so they can't ignore it and appreciate it by entrusting you with higher responsibilities.

Stop complaining; otherwise, you will find yourself hopping from one job to another, thereby jeopardizing your career.

Every person has his abilities and capabilities to do a specific job. The moral is nothing but the objective met at the end. The hard work you put in and the results you achieve should always be parallel to each other.

For the hard work to be recognized, create visibility and build contacts. Chat with new people on a break for a smoke or lunch/dinner. Get into a habit of mingling and sharing things so that you get information and stay up to date in your field, process, or place of work. You have to involve yourselves in gossips to get that visibility sometimes, but only in good ideas or knowledge sharing.

Keep smiling; that makes you look great.

Dear Rishee,
Your thoughts are a bit confusing. But with experience I can tell you that even by doing your boss’s “Peon” work there is so much you can learn only if you have the right attitude and are willing to think out of the box!
There are so many famous figures in the world who got to their place from a very small place; they’re the stepping stones of success.
But however, addressing your point, these days in most companies, you can’t find such boss’s if the company is a very successful and prominent one. The reason being that today’s boss’s are well educated and are continuously encouraging their subordinates. The kind of scenario that you highlight mostly exists on the government sector.
