The responsibilities of an Assistant Admin/Facilities Manager are enormous and primarily driven by the expectations of the employer and the official you are reporting to. However, a few of them are:

- Maintaining order in accordance with the norms and culture of the organization.
- Reporting any delinquency by the staff.
- Ensuring the serviceability and availability of support services for facilitation, such as drinking water, sanitation, electrical appliances, and connectivity on landline/internet.
- Renewal of any applicable licenses, such as factory/pollution, and timely payment of fees.
- Renewal of fitness certificates and payment of taxes for vehicles, lifts, or other items/properties of such a nature owned by the organization.
- Insurance of movable and immovable property and payment of premiums.
- Supervision of security.
- Activation of contingency plans in case of natural disasters.
- Ensuring the serviceability of fire-fighting appliances and suitability of emergency exits.
- Upkeep of the garden, garage, and parking areas.
