What is the difference between a warehouse and a stores? In the Industries. Regards shankar please any one suggest me.....

If we put this into simple words, the warehouse will be outside the industry, maybe a distribution channel or in another city to help customers get products delivered fast. Stores are in-house facilities to support manufacturing activities, such as incoming and, in some cases, outgoing items also stored in stores.

Stores always indicates the place of Raw material storing. Warehouse is for the Finished Goods at times can also be interpritted input of finished goods.
