Dear Seniors,

Please advise me on a practical process of doing manpower accounting in a service industry (healthcare) and how to effectively plan manpower. When should we allow adding manpower in a particular department? Are there any standard broad guidelines? How can we determine if a department in an organization is overstaffed, understaffed, or rightly staffed?

Please advise as I am having a tough time controlling manpower and enabling accurate manpower accounting.
