Hi All,
This is Shreya. I am doing my PGDBA course and currently, I am into recruitment as part of my course. My area in Recruitment is hardcore IT. I am undergoing the entire process of recruitment.
Can anyone define screening and offer negotiation that is done as part of the process as I am a bit confused with those two? Also, I am planning to do a quantitative study on recruitment. Can anyone suggest how I could go about it?
Thank you,
Shreya

Hi Shreya,
Please find the recruitment process below which we follow in our company. I'm working in an IT company and we follow this method.
Recruitment Process
Step 1: Requirements are sent from the Project Team to the HR Manager.
Step 2: The HR team shortlists resumes of potential fits for the requirement. After speaking with them, a list of candidates who could be interviewed is prepared, and interviews are scheduled with the respective project team.
Step 3: Interviews are conducted by the project team (the number of interviews will depend on the comfort level of the interviewing team and the position for which the candidate is interviewed).
Step 4: The project team sends the list of selected candidates from the interview to the VP for approval.
Step 5: The VP (Projects), upon reviewing the remarks about the candidates, sends the approval to the VP (Operations) to proceed with making an offer and determining the required start date.
Step 6: The VP (Operations) discusses salary and other details with the candidates and extends an offer after completing all verifications. Additionally, the start date is confirmed after consulting with the candidate.
Cheers,
