Dear all my colleagues,

I am an admin officer in Kutch (Gujarat)-based private company. My question is: our legal consultant asked me whether the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act is applicable only to government undertakings and not applicable to private companies. Is it true?

Please reply urgently as I am waiting for your response.

Warm regards,
Bhagirath

It's applicable in all factories, government undertakings, and private companies where 100 or more employees are working in the company; they should be subject to the Standing Orders.
