I want the generalised components in CTC. Suppose a person earns 3 lakhs per annum, how can it be split in general, and how can we determine the In-Hand Pay ... I know it generally depends on Basic, HRA, and other allowances, but in general, I want to prepare a report with some examples about CTC Vs In-Hand Pay. This could be used to explain Tax calculations later.

So if anybody can give me a split on the CTC components (with valid assumptions) for the following figures (just for example) CTC - 3 lakhs, 4 lakhs, 5 lakhs, 6 lakhs. Thanks in Anticipation. Please Reply soon.

Dear sir,

Thank you for providing the salary breakup, but could you clarify whether it is possible for CTC and Gross salary to be the same? I believe there is a significant difference between these two aspects. Please explain this to me.

With warm regards,

Hi Sujay,

It would be helpful to me if you could give me an idea on designing a salary structure in the Indian scenario. If you have any presentations or formats, please do share them with me at my personal email jayavel.k@gmail.com.

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please tell me how to split CTC or what is the logic behind splitting up CTC of Rs. 1 lakh, Rs. 2 lakh, etc.? Also, please let me know if it is based on assumptions.

Regards,
