Hi,
One of my close friends has a very serious problem. Let me explain it in detail. My friend has been working in a CMM Level 3 company for 2.5 years and holds a B1 visa, having been to the US once. However, the issue is that in his current company, he is experiencing no growth. Despite his experience, he is not receiving any job offers. He is considering learning software courses, falsifying experience, and attempting to secure a new job. The concern is whether his B1 visa and previous US visit could pose a problem. Would he risk being caught if he fabricates his experience?
Please assist him.

Hi Dass,
You already know that your friend will be caught for providing a fake certificate. Let's put it this way - your friend keeps fake experience on his CV, and based on that, some companies call him and offer him a job. However, if he is unable to perform well during the initial period, he could be terminated from the company. My suggestion would be for him to wait and continue working at his current job while actively searching for a good opportunity that aligns with his actual experience.

Hi,
A few weeks back, I joined a new company. It's a relatively new venture that operates in the Hotels, Education, Agro, and also has a medical college & hospital in Punjab. Since they did not have a proper base in New Delhi, they initially recruited me. I joined as a Senior Business Development Officer, where my role was to coordinate.
For the past couple of days, I have been facing serious issues regarding my designation. However, my bosses have given me full authority to choose what I like because we are just starting our operations in Delhi. Here, I am taking care of the Delhi office, as well as the purchases, as we are currently undergoing the construction of our medical college & hospital and our agro factory. All these projects are very substantial.
I am responsible for all the purchase processes, such as construction materials, machinery both from abroad and locally. I am also involved in our three-star hotel (participating in management decision-making, reviewing reports, etc.) and our reputed boarding school (handling purchases, recruitment, etc.). In short, I am involved in almost all sectors, positioned closely to my bosses, who also encourage me to think the same way.
I am dealing with some significant names in the industry, whether domestic or international. For example, I recently closed a 4 crore deal with a Japanese company for our agro plant machinery. My problem lies in uncertainty about my designation since I am involved in various areas such as purchasing, recruitment, coordination, PR, etc. Please help me out.

Hi Das,
Let him continue in the same company. Advise him that instead of putting efforts for fake and later start shivering for a long time, it's better to put efforts into identifying the problem of dissatisfaction in the current role and search for ways to overcome it. Meanwhile, he can do some related IT courses, which may help him in the next jump.
Good luck.

Hi,
Regarding the role you are currently in, if the Business Development Officer position suits you, that's fine. Alternatively, you can consider transitioning to the role of Commercial Officer, which offers a wide range of activities. Upon project completion, you can explore different areas of interest and potentially change your designation accordingly.
Thanks and regards,

Don't put effort into obtaining fake certificates; instead, focus on your current job. Explore opportunities to add value to both your role and the company. Without proper background verification, there will not be a hire, so refrain from the idea of providing false information to potential employers.
Above all, "attitude" plays a crucial role in success or failure in any job. Be truthful to yourself and others, seek knowledge, acquire skills and expertise, and strive to find enjoyment in your work. Best of luck!

Hi Kameswarao,
Thank you for the valuable advice. I just want to confirm what will be the best for my future prospects if I am applying for jobs overseas. I am an MBA professional with majors in HR & Marketing and I also have 2 years of work experience in recruitment at a consultancy. As you can see, I am not a technical person, which is very important in these kinds of jobs, especially if I want to apply abroad.
