Hi,
As per my understanding, functional skills are the ones related to specific functions like HR, Marketing, Finance, Administration, Logistics, Production, etc. Technical skills are purely related to technology or technical know-how, for example, computer knowledge, internet proficiency, etc. Technical skills are not necessarily concerned with your specific function but are essential for all roles. These are skills that people should possess, such as operating a computer, which is required by all functional departments.
Regards,
Sara.
