Could anyone here please let me know how many public holidays are allowed under the Shops & Establishment Act? My company is located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and it is a System Software Development company (IT). Kindly also provide the proof so that I can present this list to the Management as soon as possible.

Can anyone break up the holidays? From the discussion, what I can understand is there are 3 compulsory national holidays, with the remaining 7 based on the region. Can anyone help me understand the holidays for a private company in Hyderabad that has 30+ employees? Is there a minimum and maximum cap for these holidays? Please help me.
