Hello friends,

Our company is registered under the AP Shops and Establishments Act and the rules. Please clarify the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946 and the rules whether it's applicable to our company???

We appreciate your valuable suggestions on this.

Thanks and regards,

The Industrial Employment Standing Orders Act is basically meant for industrial establishments and not shops and commercial establishments. However, there may not be any objection if you go for drafting standing orders for your establishment. The Deputy Labour Commissioner may be the certifying officer, and it is advisable for you to seek his advice in this regard.
