Look at the viability of the product. Also, consider the following points:
1. Cost of the product
2. Who are its competitors?
3. Unique selling proposition (USP) of the product
4. Target customer
5. How and where you plan to place the product - premium segment or normal segment
After analyzing the pros and cons, present your plan to the company in a neat presentation supported by facts, figures, and analysis, if possible. Be prepared for tough questioning. If there is any negative feedback, don't get disheartened. Go back to the drawing board and come back with a watertight and comfortable presentation.
Most importantly, put yourself in the shoes of the company and analyze the product - its strengths and weaknesses. This will help you to meet the company people confidently.

Find some top 10 companies and their advertising agencies, and get an appointment to meet in person. Present yourself with a positive attitude. You can win. It's a highly competitive world, so do your best. They prefer a soft worker over a hard worker.
