Good Evening! There is no facility to confirm the PF balance in your account. You can only confirm the status of your account when you have applied for PF withdrawal. It will show when you have applied and the status of your claim. You can check it on: www.epfindia.com

Dear Seniors,
I am working in an ITES Company in Chennai, which has branches in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. We are registered with the Chennai PF Office and are remitting all location dues in Chennai.
Now, one of my friends says that although we are paying PF dues in Chennai, in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, we also need to register with the PF Department, similar to what we are doing with ESI. Is his contention correct? If so, please let me know the relevant provisions of the Act.
