Does the minimum wage fixed by the respective state governments apply to central government PSUs, banks, and FIs operating in those states, or is there any minimum wage fixed by the central government separately for these organizations?

Minimum Wages Act is applicable to all establishments in the SCHEDULED EMPLOYMENT irrespective of whether they are under the control of the government or private. Banking is one of the employments named in the schedule, and therefore, the Minimum Wages Act will be applicable to banks. Similarly, if a PSU is engaged in an employment under the schedule of the Act, then the PSU should follow the minimum wages fixed by the government.

Very true, Mr. Madhu. Sir is very correct. The Minimum Wages Act applies to all establishments that employ individuals under scheduled employment mentioned in the Act. The nature of the establishment is irrelevant, whether it is a PSU, Government, Semi-Government, Private, Public, etc.
