Hi,
I am working for a company where my HR team and management are telling us that we are not eligible for sick leave since we are covered under ESIC. They are also declining earned leave, and in casual leave, they are saying only one leave per month, which will not be carried over to the next month. Kindly clarify this for me.

Dear,
It seems like there must be some conditions mentioned in your appointment letter that during the probation period, you cannot avail leaves. But do not worry at all. They cannot do this to you. Please go through the policy because, as per the law, it is unethical and unfair practice.
