Dear all,

I have seen many PowerPoint presentations that have very good content but are badly presented because we violate accepted standards such as the 6x6 rule or use too many effects, etc. The attached downloadable PowerPoint contains effective, tested guidelines so that we can make very professional, winning presentations wherever we need them.

Hope it will be of use to many of you who do regular presentations in your companies.

Cheers,
Prof. Lakshman

Respected Prof. Laxman,

I have gone through the presentation and found it quite educative. I believe "positive flows out of negative." It all depends on the attitude of the person. The PPT shows negatives, and if one is able to take care of these negatives, positive outcomes flow out of it. That is "excellence." Please keep sharing such educative materials for all the readers of the CiteHR.

Regards,

Yours sincerely,

Dear Prof,

I'm new here and I work as an HR/Admin Manager for an NGO, but I'm also responsible for PR. Recently, I have been involved in the preparation of a number of presentations. In order to make them in a professional manner, I have looked through a lot of information on the internet. I'm very sorry that I didn't see your presentation at that time as I found it very useful. Nevertheless, I will use your recommendations going forward.

Best,

Very good presentation on the Dos and Don'ts of a presentation. One anomaly is that people forget that a presentation is an aid for them. It is supposed to supplement the presenter's views. Often, it is pathetic to see people heavily rely on it and read the presentation as if they are reading aloud a newspaper.

Thanks for the very good post.
