Please check about their standards. For software companies, they will mention CMM Level 5. Regarding their verticals, clients, and long-term projects, these are certain parameters you can inquire about the company.

If it's for Non-IT, please consider the financial background/status and the reputation, brand name in the market. Identify their expansions in the market based on the products, branches, etc. You can even check for their valuable clients. These are certain parameters you can check for Non-IT clients.

For the IT clients, you can refer to my previous message, which will be more suitable.

Dear Brindha,

I think you might be asking about the top companies in the US.

The Fortune 500 company list is a ranking of the top 500 United States public corporations as measured by gross revenue, although eligible companies are any for which revenues are publicly available (which is a larger universe than "public companies," as the term is commonly understood, to mean "companies whose common stock trades on a stock exchange). Fortune magazine compiles and publishes the list of Fortune 500 companies annually. Fortune 100 is a frequently used term used to reference the top 100 firms in this same list, and Fortune 1000 refers to the top 1000 firms ranked according to the same methodology. The Fortune 500 should not be confused with the S&P 500, which is a stock market index. All numbers are based on revenue figures for each Fortune 500 company's previous fiscal year, which may end on different dates for each company.

If your requirement is so, please click on the following link to get the latest complete list based on different criteria: http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune500/
Some companies in this list may not be working in India.

Two separate files are also attached.

Thank you.
