Hi all,
As stated above, Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield, Bangalore, is helping people by providing free heart surgery to those in need. However, I disagree with this information based on my personal experience. I accompanied a relative who needed surgery, and what I observed at the institute was different from what is typically portrayed.
I regret to say that Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences primarily handles minor cases. When faced with major cases, they advise patients to seek treatment at other hospitals due to a lengthy waiting period - up to 3 to 4 years due to a high volume of patients awaiting surgery.
It is disheartening to witness numerous patients being turned away, particularly those who have traveled long distances with hope. Additionally, there is a lack of accommodation near the hospital, with individuals having to travel approximately 5 to 6 kilometers to Kadugodi for lodging. Despite offering free heart surgeries, patients incur significant expenses for their stay and meals because the institute lacks facilities for anything beyond the patient and one attendant during their hospital stay.
In conclusion, I urge you not to recommend this institute to patients traveling long distances, especially those requiring major procedures such as open-heart surgery, bypass surgery, or microvalve surgeries.
I hope this message serves as an eye-opener for all readers.
Regards,
From India, Hubli
