I have been recruited by an IT organization(450 employees) recently as a HR Executive.Prior to my joining both the HRD &GAD were acting as one Department ,where there was no proper information flow to the management .I would like to know the Various HR MIS reports we can generate to get the complete picture of the Departmental outputs.

There can be N numbers of reports. I work in an It firm, reports having the following data:
Active projects, with the active members with their correct % allocation and resource location.
Costing report which has the details of cost along with the the above mentioned informations
People availabilty
Resource skill set

same at your end.Because it will help you to prepare other such formats too.

First Sheet- Details of employee

Second Sheet- Salary structure

In this sheet write down the complete salary structure.. and make a column
what is salary after any revision

Third Sheet - New Joinees

In this sheet write down the name of New joinees of that month with detail
like CTC, Designation, DOB n etc.

Forth Sheet - Resigned employees

In this sheet write the name of employees who resigned during that
particular month with details like name, designation, date of joining, Date of
resignation, last working day.

Fifth sheet - Attrition rate

Sixth Sheet - Training programs conducted

Seventh Sheet - Other activities done in that month.
