Dear All,
My frend's comp is paying exgratia at 4.81% of basic sal, & not providing gratuity to employees left after 5 yrs.
so, employees completing 5 yrs are getting low benefit, as they could not avail the benefit of term in Gratuity act - "15 days basic salary based on last drawn salary". as there is rise in salary in 5yrs.
So, is it applicable if employees request management to stop ex gratia payment per month and provide lump sum gratuity amt. after separation.
pls suggest.
Thanks and regards,
