Dear Colleague,
Debriefing on the Development Centre report is normally done by well trained professional who is having good amount of understanding and practical application on the tools adopted during the ADC. The report is a simple document but many participants will not have the knack or ability to understand the report. Hence the debriefing is a very important step in the ADC Process.

In this hand holding process it is suggested to follow:

1. First share the report in full in a form of soft copy to the participant with an instruction to have a general reading of the report and then await for a one on one session where the professional will have a briefing session etc

2. The reports normally will have full scientific base of the tools adopted and how the interpretation is arrived etc.

3. The report will also contain the participant's strengths, Scope for development, Opportunities to further improve their area of focus everything are detailed

4. The debriefing session is fixed one to one on a pre announced time and date

5. The Facilitator gives complete understanding of the background of the ADC and the Tools adopted

6. He makes the Participant to focus on the key parts of the report where he or she needs to focus further in the coming days and how it will help then individually and professionally

7. Once the report is understood by the participant then the facilitator is helping and guiding on arriving development plan by the participant himself or herself.

8. The draft Development plan is arrived jointly along with the facilitator and the Participant has to consult his Immediate Manager and HR for further support and then finalize the Development Plan.

9. There will a follow up session on the progress of Development Plan and so on.
