The biggest challenge in the
IT/Software sector faced post covid is the issue related to WFH vs return to the workplace. Indeed the issue is still there as is seen from the news that Infosys is making it mandatory for employees to return to office if they have to be promoted. Having experienced the advantages of WFH policy, employees are steadfastly declining to return to their earlier work methods. The other issues pertain to the recession in the market, jobs drying up, increasing health concerns, impact of AI in the work sphere etc. The pre-covid issues regarding employee engagement, retention, recruiting the right talent, etc are still there.
