Draft of resignation letter

Hi,

I am facing a strange problem. My boss stays in the Corporate office in Delhi and I work in a BPO Centre based at Pune. She had created a Pseudo boss in my team. This girl doesn't have any authority to act like a boss and she is too junior as compared to my total experience however she had spent 2 years in this company so she has a good hold over most of the deptts.. This girl is very manipulative and had made my boss dance on her tunes. She is constantly trying to damage my image before my boss and she is so jealous of me that she never let me get training since the day I joined so that I get kicked out on performance issues. I had still managed to build my image to some extent by coming up with new ideas and implementations. I have got several written appreciations from other departments. Now she had convinced my boss to keep me away from the areas of my expertise. Since the business of my company is down these days therefore my name has been forwarded for redeployment/bench,as adviced by her.
I escalated this issue to my skip. Now they have started trapping me in weekly status calls to demoaralise me. My skip suggested me to move to Corp Office but there is no guarantee whether they will put in the same profile(HR) . Also, my movement can only be made once a position is created so they are unable to move me somewhere now. Not only that, most of the tasks I had been doing had been delegated to my juniors and my junor's task has been aligned to me. This is being done to humiliate me. This has demotivated me to a large extent. I have observed my team members bitching on against me to my boss on mobile. There is a girl who sarcastically asks whether I am getting call from any consultant or not ? I am unable to concentrate on work and I interact quite less with people. It is affecting my performance too.

My concern is how to deal with a team where my team mates do conspiracy against me. My boss understands everything still pretends that she doesn't know. She wants to keep her tenured employee happy who are jealous of me. There is favouritism in this team. Somehow I also feel that she is also a part of all this..
Still she says that I should come forward and tell her my concern. I can't show her the mirror as she is not fair. There were few similar cases where an employee raised grievance being straightforward and they were maltreated & compelled to leave. Please advise me what to do in this case ............ :-(

Dear Sir

I would like to resign from my job with immediate effect. I have taken this decision to pursue another opportunity that would act as a catalyst in my career.

I would be serving a one month notice starting tomorrow and would like to be relieved of my responsibilities by February 15, 2007. I would like to thank you for your support and insights that made my stint a great learning experience.

I am currently working on the following projects:

* Conducting market research for our proposed product -- slated to be completed by end of this week.

* Studying the sales trends for the last six months and providing a report -- slated to be completed by February 8.

I would like to discuss the following when we meet:

* My pending bonus for the current financial year.

* Vacation time and its adjustment with the notice period.

I would like to recommend a few team members for my position and would be happy to train and support my replacement.

Please let me know of a convenient time to meet and discuss the same.

Yours sincerely,

Mr.XYZ
