Hello Satish,
From the perspective of an English native speaker and qualified teacher, I would say that although the grammar is the "nuts and bolts", fluency practice is essential - you can pick up phrases and note various grammar structures along the way. Think how a child learns the language - grammar is not taught until the child is usually in their teens, long after they are fluent in the language! I would say its a bit like a car - you dont necessarily need to know what's under the engine to drive it.
Any yes, many native speakers make grammar mistakes but still communicate effectively. Remember, native speakers are listening for your message, not your mistakes when you talk to them. The key is not to give up and dont be afraid of making mistakes.
We specialise in online training to prepare people for job interviews and communication skills at work. See <link no longer exists - removed> or mail me at if you require any further information.

Dear all,
I strongly disagree to speak English with grammar errors knowingly. It may not be so difficult to learn English Grammar and to write and speak without error. When anyone has the mindset to learn, it is quite possible to be a better speaker and a writer too.
For anyone from Madurai, I can arrange for good courses. wish you happy learning.
