Hi All
Please help me in clearing my concept relating to Pick and Drop Policy. We have been giving the pick and drop facility to our employees. Now, we need to add a few clauses to it.
Will it be fine to charge employees some monthly amount for availing this facility. If yes, then how and on what basis it should be done?
I got to know that most of the companies charge a nominal amount to the employees. What is the main creteria for fixing the charges ie. on the basis of KMS etc.
Need your advise, Please help

Well...its an organisation prerogative..it could vary btwn 10% to 30% of the total cost ...my organisation provides it free. some companies charges around 1000 to 2000 per month from the employee or else they add this amount in their Gross Salary or CTC....Ur company needs to take a decision how much do they want to charge in that case you guys need to freeze the conveyance allowance of Rs. 800/month which is non taxable .......upto this much limit.......hope i am clear...
