Hi, I have recently joined a new organization. It's a family-owned Real Estate organization. (100 staff) This industry is new to me. There was no HR department as such earlier.
I am making the attendance policy. In this regard, I need guidance & suggestion from seniors.

Current Scenario

1) Office time is 9.30 AM to 6.00 PM. But people are coming till 10.30 as flexible time. And grace period of 10.00 minutes after 10.30
2) Most of the staff are working from ages ( 15+ Years) and are coming on time few might be late due to some reason.

My Opinion is
1) Will keep this as same but will not be so harsh regarding in time & out time. At the end of the day, work should not suffer.
2) But it should be documented. So if someone takes advantage of Flexi hours will warn them according to the policy.


Current Scenario
1) Accounts / back-office staff are work from home on Saturday. Not such kind of policy or on paper this has mentioned.
2) While interacting with the employees I got the feedback for the proposal of 5 days week . or at least 2 sat off is mandatory.

My Opinion are
1) Will proposed to the management for 2 sat of for front line people (sales & engineering). So work will not suffer. People can do work on alternate basis on Saturday.
2) 2 sat off and 2 sat is WFH to rest of back end staff including HR .

As I am planning to implement HRM software for attendance. So I need to define the polices also

I need your guidance and suggestions that is this correct way to propose the management.
