hello everyone,

I have a query regarding my pf. I left my last company just giving my resignation. Since i was in probation, so i did not serve my notice period. They are putting zero amount every month in my pf account and they also denied to close my member id by putting exit date. I requested number of times to do my full and final, even agree to pay my one month notice period amount but they deny to settle. Will it affect my current organization pf amount if i wish to withdraw the full amount in future or transfer the amount ??
Please let me know what options i have to stop the company to put zero amount in every month in my pf account.

Thanks in advance for your advices.

Dear Colleague,
There is no connection between F&F and PF accumulation and serving notice period etc. There are 2 types of PF Account. One is maintained by the Trust ( If Exemption obtained by the employer from EPFO) maintained by the employer directly and the other one is PF remittance to the EPFO every month in the Fund administered by EPFO. You need to first understand what type of Fund it is. No employer can show Zero for a live member in contribution. Now:

1. Check your account on line by using your UAN and if any problem inform them that they have to set it right or you are going to make it as a report to EPFO- Enforcement Officer.

2. There is a portal maintained by EPFO for grievance escalation which is called IGMS of EPFO which really works very well. If you raise your grievance, then the EPFO will intervene and sort out and help you.

3. Once done you can transfer your funds to your current PF Account with Same UAN

4. PF is your statutory right and take up seriously. Even if there might be reasonable reasons in the part of the employer for not doing F&F etc it is not allowed under Law that they can deprive PF to any employee.
