A ray of hope for the job security of IT Professionals
This forum has seen many queries raised about the job security of IT Engineers and other professionals working in the software industry. Two articles regarding the Labour Court ordering for reinstatement of such employees with all service benefits appeared in the press. Attaching the link for the same. Though the order is only of the Labour Court and it is binding only on the parties involved, yet this judgement marks a watershed in the judicial thinking on the subject. I can foresee the logic of this judgement being upheld by higher courts.
