For all employment benefits like salary, increment, leave, bonus, continuity of service, etc., notice period actually served by an exiting employee should be taken into account till his/her formal relieving from the organization. From 04-01-2016 to 28-12-2020, your total service comes to 4 years, 11 months and 24 days. Therefore, you are eligible for gratuity under the PGA,1972.
